Call (844) 254-6382 if you do not have a smartphone or have difficulty connecting and we can check you in to our system. Wait in your car until it is your turn to be evaluated.
If you are found to have symptoms of the Flu (Influenza), we may test you for the flu in your car AFTER evaluation via the telemedicine visit. We may send our medical assistant to your vehicle to perform the nasal swab for the Flu. A clinic visit may be warranted and you may be directed to come into the clinic
Until further notice, ONLY THE PATIENT will be allowed into the office, unless it is a parent accompanying a child or there are special circumstances. All other family/friends/co-workers should remain out in the car.
Anyone presenting with a cough and fever MUST wear a mask when they come into the clinic. If you have a fever and a cough you will not be allowed into the clinic without a mask. Anyone accompanying the patient with fever and cough will also need to wear a mask.
The patient with fever and cough, after putting on their mask, will be instructed to wash their hands for a minimum of 20 seconds. They will be asked to avoid touching surfaces if possible.
Those patients with fever and cough will be tested for influenza A&B with a rapid test via nasal swab. If this test is positive, the patient will be treated accordingly.
If the flu test is negative, and there is suspicion for COVID-19, we will follow the protocols set forth by the CDC and the Public Health Department (these protocols are being updated regularly).
We currently offer rapid Corona Virus testing at our facility. We can take a nasal and throat swab and test it in house or send to our local lab. Turn-around for rapid tests are 15 minutes and for PCR swabs it can be 24 hours to 5 days.
Upon examination of the patient with fever and cough with high suspicion for COVID-19, our provider may recommend you go to the ER for further testing.
